Blackmont is an unincorporated community in Bell County, Kentucky, United States. At one time it was called Hulen. Its post office [2] is closed.
Blackmont was featured on MTV's reality doc True Life: I'm Addicted To Oxy Contin in the mid-to-late 90's. This episode featured a young man who was addicted to the pain medication known as Oxy Contin, so much that he sold the pill just to make enough cash to buy him some. This portion of the show took an in-depth look at the struggles of an addict-turned dealer and was filmed on the Highway 72 Bridge.
