Bludzie Wielkie [ˈblud͡ʑɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German: Groß Bludszen, 1928-1936 Bludszen, 1936-1938 Bludschen, 1938-1945 Forsthausen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.^[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Dubeninki, 18 km (11 mi) east of Gołdap, and 148 km (92 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
