Żabojady [ʐabɔˈjadɨ] (German: Szabojeden, 1936-38 Schabojeden, 1938–45 Sprindberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Dubeninki, 20 km (12 mi) east of Gołdap, and 151 km (94 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 49.
