Robert Brian "Bob" McCaslin (born November 21, 1957), also known as the Bob McCaslin, Jr., is an American politician of the Republican Party. He is a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 4th Legislative District since November 25, 2014, when he was sworn in early due to the resignation of Larry Crouse. He is from Spokane Valley.[1] McCaslin sought to be appointed to Crouse's seat in January 2014, but Leonard Christian was chosen instead by Spokane County commissioners.[2] Running for a full term in the November 4, 2014, general election, he defeated former Spokane Valley Mayor Diana Wilhite, a fellow Republican.[3]
Personal life
McCaslin is a kindergarten teacher. His father, Bob McCaslin, Sr., was a former Washington state senator from Spokane Valley.[4]
