Robert Alden Titchenal (October 17, 1917 July 5, 2009) was an American college football head coach. From 1953 to 1955, he served as the head football coach at New Mexico, where he compiled a 12151 record. From 1957 to 1964, he was the head football coach at San Jose State, where he compiled a 33461 record. His overall record as a coach is 45612. In his playing days, Bob captained the only undefeated San Jose State football team in school history. He went on to play professionally for the Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers, and the Los Angeles Dons. He was born in Ventura, California.
