Bodhiraja Buddhist Society is a Theravada organisation in Singapore. The present premises are located at Geylang, Singapore.
Overview
Bodhiraja Buddhist Society was founded as a theravada Buddhist organisation in Singapore by Ven Dr Omalpe Sobhita Thero. It is related with the Sri Bodhiraja Foundation in Sri Lanka which participated in the reconstruction and relief efforts accruing from the tsunami victims in Hambantota[2] and also towards the closure of the Sri Lankan Civil War.[3] The center conducts a variety of buddhist services and activities on a weekly basis.[4]
