Borowe [bɔˈrɔvɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of Sorkwity, 9 km (6 mi) south-west of Mrągowo, and 49 km (30 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
