"Bossa Nova Baby" is a song written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and recorded on January 22, 1963, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, CA[1] by Elvis Presley as part of the soundtrack of the 1963 motion picture Fun in Acapulco. The song appeared in a 2014 ad for Heineken.
The song reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart[2] and number twenty on the Billboard R&B Singles chart in 1963.[3] It also reached number 13 in the UK charts.[4]
It was first recorded and released by Tippie and the Clovers in 1962.[5]
