Breviea is a genus of plant in family Sapotaceae described as a genus in 1935.[3][4]
It contains only one known species, Breviea sericea, native to tropical Africa (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Zaire).[1]
The species is listed as near threatened.[5]
