Bronowice ([brɔnɔˈvit͡sɛ]; in German Braunsdorf, in Sorbian Brunojce) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Trzebiel, 28 km (17 mi) west of Żary, and 67 km (42 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). In the 1880s, most inhabitants spoke Sorbian.[2]
The village has a population of 370.
