Brunów [ˈbrunuf] (German: Braunau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lwówek Śląski, within Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of Lwówek Śląski, and 102 kilometres (63 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 125.
Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
