Brzozowo [bʐɔˈzɔvɔ] (German: Brosowen, from 1938-45 Hartenstein) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Węgorzewo, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-west of Węgorzewo and 94 km (58 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
