Cătălin Carp (born 20 October 1993 in Chișinău) is a Moldavian footballer who plays mainly as a defensive midfielder for Romanian club Steaua București and Moldova national football team.
Club career
Carp made his way through the youth system of the Ukrainian football club FC Shakhtar Donetsk.[1]
In January 2012 Carp signed 3 years deal with Ukrainian Premier League side FC Dynamo Kyiv.[2]
International career
On 14 August 2013 he made his debut for the Moldova national football team in a friendly match against Andorra.[3]
Personal life
His father, Ilie Carp, is currently a football scout and coach, who previously managed in Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
