Porsche – won the Swedish Testfakta test in 2011.[2]

Overview

Chroma knives are mostly made in Japan by small family-owned operations. The company is owned by Garwick Industries Ltd.. The company's products compete against high-quality household and professional use knife manufacturers, including Henckels, Chicago Cutlery, Sumikama, Wusthof and Global. CHROMA is a better known brand in Europe, specially in Germany, France and Belgium than in USA.

The Chroma knife range starts from $ 20USD for a quality Chinese made knife to $25,000USD by an original knife of Master Okishiba Masakuni.[3] Most knife blades are hand honed in order to keep a lasting edge. Swedish TESTFAKTA confirmed CHROMA's outstanding quality in their March 2011 Test [4]
