History

In 1986, Jan Baggen puts up a signboard in front of the first Cadac office in Heerlen.

Cadac Group started in May 1986 as CAD Advice Center, founded by engineering student Jan Baggen while studying architectural engineering at Zuyd Hogeschool in Heerlen.

Architecture, engineering and construction

All architectural, construction, installation technical, structural engineering, MEP and civil engineering knowledge of Cadac Group is housed in Vianen, centrally located in the Netherlands. Cadac Group offers training, support and CAD software like Autodesk Revit and TheModus for building information modeling (BIM) in the entire construction chain. Besides that, Cadac Group offers Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) products and solutions that keep asset information up-to-date throughout the entire lifecycle, from project initiation to the maintenance and management phase, and to ensure that information is easily accessible to all stakeholders.

Manufacturing

Cadac Group offers digital prototyping and CAD solutions such as Autodesk Inventor for mechanical engineering teams in the industrial machinery, equipment fabrication, consumer products, process plants, aerospace, automotive and shipbuilding industries.

Collaboration and document management

Adding Cadac Organice to Autodesk Vault (software for creating, organizing, documenting and managing design and simulation data) gives integration with SharePoint. Then these documents can be made available in SharePoint to all stakeholders in the project, both internal and external.

NXTdim Inventor Manufacturing NXTdim Inventor optimizes the design process with a standardized best-practice implementation of Inventor. NXTdim also provides a multilingual standard library of DIN parts, Autodesk Inventor tools and support.
NXTdim Vault Manufacturing NXTdim Vault provides an accessible and affordable Product Data Management solution, in the form of a best-practice Vault implementation including add-in with time-saving Autodesk Vault features.
TheModus Architecture, Engineering & Construction TheModus is a cloud application to combat rising failure costs in construction projects. This Autodesk BIM Best Practice consists of a library of smart Autodesk Revit construction units and an online platform that enables construction partners and engineers throughout the construction chain to create, manage and share information.
NedInfra Government, Civil Engineering NedInfra Suite is a collection of applications for civil engineering design work that helps optimize AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map designs for local Dutch standards.
NedGraphics smartGlobe Aerospace NedGraphics smartGlobe is an Aeronautical Charting System (ACS) specially for the commercial aviation and is used worldwide to produce and update maps with aviation information.
