Cadet College Palandri, is a military high school, located in Palandri, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located on the valley of Azad Kashmir where students are given special training for national security and defense.
History
Cadet College Palandri was announced in 1976, by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto due to efforts of Col M Naqi Khan, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, along with two other cadet colleges at Larkana and Mastung. Instability prevented this dream from being realized until 1991, when Benazir Bhutto, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, released funds for this college. Raja Mumtaz Hussain Rathore the then Prime Minister Azad kashmir graced the ground breaking ceremony. A flood in 1992 stopped everything proceeding.
In 1998 Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary, the then PM of Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir, appointed Brigadier (retd.) Muhammad Akbar khan as project director and commandant of the college. The first batch of students, 62 cadets, joined the college on 13 September 1998. The formal inauguration was held on the next day, and 15th Sep 1998 was the day when the teachers commenced teaching.
It was initiated by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Colonel Naqi. Later in Zia Era further funds were arranged through General Aziz Khan who was than Colonel and on appointment as Military Secretary to General Zia. General Aziz Khan wanted a mega educational project in his Native Village. General Aziz is also the current member of Board of governors (BOG'S) of the College.
Houses
Cadet College Palandri is a residential institution. Cadets are accommodated in the Hostels called "Houses" or "Wings". A House organizes its own social functions, excursion, prep, indoor and outdoor games and sports. Each house is in the charge of a House Master and a House Prefect and one Non Commissioned Officer from Pakistan Army. The college is divided into five houses.

Khan House
Khan House is also one of the newly constructed Houses of Cadet College Palandri. It is named after the great son of this soil, Col. Khan Muhammad Khan who was a brave soldier who participated in the world war-I. Presently this house has accommodation of 97 Cadets comprising the sections viz viii, ix, x, xi, xii
Colour
The colour of the Khanians is "Blue" which is the colour of the blood of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland.
Slogan
The Slogan of Khanians' is "Blue Blue, Sky Blue"
Motto
- "I CAN I WILL"
Moreover, the Khanians' performance in the curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities of the college is praise worthy.
Aims
The aim of the college is to provide quality education to the cadets which includes curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Infrastructure
The college include a mosque, a gymnasium, auditorium, academic and admin blocks, five houses, cadet mess, officers mess, employees colony and the services shops. The Principal's house is on the top.
Cadet life
Cadets starts their day with Fajr prayer. Then there is a morning PT followed by the academic activities. In the evening cadets play games including hockey, football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, squash, bodybuilding, horse riding, assault course, volleyball, shoot ball, gymnastics and athletics.
