Calendulauda is a genus of lark in the Alaudidae family. Established by Edward Blyth in 1855, it contains eight species:[1]
- Foxy lark, Calendulauda alopex
- Fawn-coloured lark, Calendulauda africanoides
- Pink-breasted lark, Calendulauda poecilosterna
- Sabota lark, Calendulauda sabota
- Karoo lark, Calendulauda albescens
- Dune lark, Calendulauda erythrochlamys
- Barlow's lark, Calendulauda barlowi
- Red lark, Calendulauda burra
The name Calendulauda is a combination of the names of two other lark genera: Calendula and Alauda.[2] Some species in this genus were formerly assigned to the genus Mirafra.[3]
