Calenzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,557 and an area of 76.9 square kilometres (29.7 sq mi).[1]

Calenzano borders the following municipalities: Barberino di Mugello, Campi Bisenzio, Prato, San Piero a Sieve, Sesto Fiorentino, Vaglia, Vaiano.
