Campochiaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Campobasso in the Italian region Molise, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Campobasso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 624 and an area of 35.2 square kilometres (13.6 sq mi).[1]
Campochiaro borders the following municipalities: Castello del Matese, Colle d'Anchise, Guardiaregia, Piedimonte Matese, San Gregorio Matese, San Polo Matese, Vinchiaturo.
