Canterano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) east of Rome. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 363 and an area of 7.3 square kilometres (2.8 sq mi).[1]
Canterano borders the following municipalities: Agosta, Gerano, Rocca Canterano, Rocca Santo Stefano, Subiaco.
