Ciciliano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Rome. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,257 and an area of 19.0 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi).[1]
Ciciliano borders the following municipalities: Capranica Prenestina, Castel Madama, Cerreto Laziale, Pisoniano, Sambuci, San Gregorio da Sassola.
At one time, it was a stronghold of the Saracens.[2]
