2016
Just like the previous year Capcom Pro Tour 2016 will have a $500K prize pool, with Street Fighter V being the main game of the tournament as confirmed by Yoshinori Ono. Final Round 19 will be the first tournament in the circuit. [3] Capcom plans to make the Capcom Cup finals much more balanced, nationality-wise in 2016's Capcom Pro Tour. They also stated that only first place finishers of each twelve premier events and regional finals can qualify, and if someone who is already qualified takes first place, another global points qualifier will be added. Eight players will qualify from regional point leaderboards (two from North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America each). [4]
