Carlos Slim Domit (born on 15 November 1967 in Mexico)[1] is a businessman and the son of Carlos Slim Helú, who in 2013 was considered by Forbes to be the richest person in the world.
Biography
Early life
He is the oldest son of Carlos Slim Helú, the world's second richest person as of January 1, 2015. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Anáhuac.
Career
He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Grupo Carso.[2] He is a board member of Teléfonos de Mexico (Telmex),[3] America Móvil, Group7, América Telecom, Carso Global Telecom, U.S. Commercial Corp., and some subsidiaries of Grupo Carso.
Personal life
On 9 October 2010, he married his longtime girlfriend María Elena Torruco Garza; their first son, Carlos Slim Torruco, was born on 20 September 2011, followed by another son, Emiliano, born on 6 February 2013. [4] On 28 November 2014, they had a daughter named Marielle. [5]
