Carrillo Puerto (municipality)
Carrillo Puerto Municipality is a municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in the middle of the State of Veracruz. It has a surface of 246.76 km2. It is located at 18°47′N 96°34′W / 18.783°N 96.567°W.
The municipality of Carrillo Puerto is delimited to the north by Paso del Macho, to the north-east by Soledad de Doblado, to the east by Cotaxtla, to the south-east by Cuichapa and to the west by Cuitláhuac. [1]
It produces principally maize and beans.
In Carrillo Puerto, in may takes place the celebration in honor to San Isidro Labrador Patron of the town.
The weather in Carrillo Puerto is warm and dry in all the year and has rains in summer.
