Casavatore is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 8 km north of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 19,608 and an area of 1.62 km².[1] At the census of 2001 it had a population of 20,087 and a population density of 12,339 inhabitants/km², making it the second most densely populated comune in Italy (after Portici).
Casavatore borders the following municipalities: Arzano, Casoria, Naples.
