Alberto Castelvecchi
Alberto Castelvecchi (Rome, 12 April 1962) is an Italian publisher and talent scout.
Biography
Growing up in Bangkok, Alberto studied philology and linguistics. He worked at RAI, in charge of cultural programs for Rai Radio Tre and Rai Radio Due. He has collaborated at Il Messaggero and la Repubblica. He currently writes at Panorama.[1]
He co-authored with Luca Serianni one of the most important descriptive grammars of the Italian language, Italiano. Grammatica, sintassi, dubbi.[1][2]
In 1993 he founded the publishing house Castelvecchi. Devoted to new authors, it has published Aldo Nove and Isabella Santacroce, as well as Luther Blissett.[1]
He takes part at the expert group veDrò, in charge of the area "innovazione e veDròLAB".[1]
