Cave is a township located in the Timaru District, South Island, New Zealand. It is approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) north-west of Timaru on State Highway 8. It covers the area from the Rangitata River to Pareora River, Pacific Ocean to Mackenzie District, including Rangitata Gorge.
