Center for Computer Games Research
It is heavily involved in the journal Game Studies which launched in 2001 (editor-in-chief, Espen Aarseth). It has hosted a number of notable conferences including Other Players (2004), the 2005 iteration of the Digital Arts and Culture conference, and the IEEE Conference on Computational Intelligence and Games in 2010.
