Changwani

Changwani are the baloch residing in choti zareen, their chief was Changu khan.Changu khan was elder brother of Ali khan and his descendants are called as Aliyani (Leghari). Changwani were the allies of Nawab Haji Khan Mirrani in 1476; he named the town after his son Ghazi Khan Mirrani. Nowadays Sardar manzoor Ahmed Khan Changwani is their chief. They are famous due to their bravery. Changwani tribe have a special recipe which is made with meat. A second tribe Changwani are in UC Paigah 5 km south from Dera Ghazi Khan city representing Sardar Hafiz Farooq Khan Changwani some others live in Mana Ahmdani and their chief or tribal sardar is Mushtaq khan mainly.
