Chapekar Brothers ( Hindi: चापेकर ब्रदर्स ) is an upcoming Hindi film featuring the unsung heroes from Pune. They were involved with the assassination of British Plague Commissioner of Pune, W C Rand in the year 1896.[1]
Cast
Abhijit Bhagat, Sanjeet Dhuri and Manoj Bhatt will be seen in the roles of Chapekar Brothers. Others actors like Akhilesh Jain, Sujata Thakkar, Hemant Jha, Sandeep Malani, Megha joshi , Mayank Pandey, Ajay Rawat , Raj Sharnagat , Ajit Khare , Sunil Sharma and Kanchan Awasthi play important characters.[2] Veteran actor Govind Namdev is on board to play the role of Bal Gangadhar Tilak.[3]and rajkumar thakur playing Ramapandu.
Production
The film has begun shooting in Baroda and a long schedule has been planned for the coming months in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
