Dhiraj Mishra is an Indian script and play writer and has been associated with movies like Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan.

Career

Dhiraj Mishra is a writer who has his roots from Pratpaur (Phoolpur; District: Allahabad). He did his schooling from Jhariya in Jharkhand and has done his Bachelors in Science. But his passion for story-telling got him to the city of dreams Mumbai. Mishra has worked as a freelance journalist for several magazines and newspapers. He has also been the creative writer for various TV Serials. Mishra has now written a full-length feature film based on the life of Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri titled Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan.[1] His upcoming movies are ‘Birsa’ which is about a freedom fighter from Jharkhand and Chapekar brothers,[2] a revolutionary story about a group of freedom fighters from Pune where Om Puri to play Bal Gangadhar Tilak onscreen.[3]

Dhiraj Mishra has a novel ‘Patjhar aur Bahar’ to his credit. Mishra has also written a play on the life of India’s first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi titled ‘Indira’.[4]
