Chi Tauri (χ Tau, χ Tauri) is a binary star in the constellation Taurus. It is approximately 268 light years from Earth.

This is a spectroscopic binary, which means that the individual components have not been distinguished in a telescope.

The primary component, Chi Tauri A, is a blue-white B-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +5.38. Chi Tauri B is a magnitude +7.6 yellow F8 main sequence dwarf, located 19 arcseconds from the primary. The Washington Double Star Catalog lists three further companions, all below magnitude 12 and 10" - 20" distant.[1]
