Chválenice is a village and municipality (obec) in Plzeň-City District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.93 square kilometres (3.83 sq mi), and has a population of 572 (as at 28 August 2006).
Chválenice lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south-east of Plzeň and 84 km (52 mi) south-west of Prague.
