Ciimo is a Chinese sub-marque for cars owned by Dongfeng Honda and introduced in 2012.[2][1]

History

The Dongfeng Honda Ciimo badge was unveiled at the 2011 Guangzhou Motor Show,[3] The first production car for the marque was unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show,[4] being a slightly modified and rebadged eight-generation Honda Civic. The car was launched in April 2012, being labelled the first Dongfeng Honda developed model,[1] and was aimed at new clients purchasing their first car,[2] but sales were poor as most of them related the product to the old Civic.[3][5] There also were criticisms to the limited model variants.[5] Sales of Ciimo-badged cars were halted indefinitely in April 2015.[2]
