Cleardale is a hamlet in northern Alberta, Canada within Clear Hills County.[1] It is located on Highway 64 approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) east of the British Columbia border and 98 kilometres (61 mi) northwest of Fairview.

The hamlet is located in census division No. 17. The area was formally surveyed in 1953.[2]

Demographics

Statistics Canada has not recently published a population for Cleardale.

However, Industry Canada shows that Cleardale's greater rural area had a total population of 407 living in 120 dwellings in 2001. With a land area of 1,310.98 km2 (506.17 sq mi), its greater rural area has a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.78/sq mi).[3]

Education

Menno Simons Community School, a K-9 public school under the jurisdiction of the Peace River School Division, is located in Cleardale.[4]
