"Cliche Love Song" is a song by Danish singer Basim co-written by Lasse Lindorff, Kim Nowak-Zorde, Daniel Fält all of GL Music and Basim himself. It was chosen during Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2014 qualification round to represent Denmark[1] at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 which Denmark hosted in the Danish capital of Copenhagen. Being the host, Denmark already was directly qualified for the Final. 'Cliche Love Song' therefore didn't have to qualify in the semi-finals. On the 17 March the EBU announced Denmark got the 23rd place in the running order of the final.[2]

The song was performed 23rd in the final, following Malta's entry Coming Home and preceding the Netherlands entry Calm After the Storm. At the end of the voting, it had received 74 votes, placing 9th place in a field of 26 songs.
