Cliché (Hush Hush) is the first reissue by Romanian singer-songwriter Alexandra Stan. It was released only to Japanese digital outlets on October 2, 2013, containing her worldwide-releases Lemonade, Cliche (Hush Hush) and All My People (vs. Manilla Maniacs). It serves to be the re-issue of her debut album Saxobeats (2011). An album's deluxe edition was just released as a compact disc[1] and as digital download on October 23, 2013 in Japan, containing, among the original album's tracks, all the Saxobeats tracks and special remixes of them.
Background
The re-issue was released in Japan on October 10, 2013 under the title "Cliche (Hush Hush)" with three new tracks and four new remixes. The singles Lemonade, Cliche (Hush Hush) and All My People (vs. Manilla Maniacs) were already released worldwide to digital outlets in summer 2012 until early 2013, to promote the re-issue. Cliche (Hush Hush) is the only work that contains her three releases; worldwide, the singles were released as non-album singles. This is the ultimate album under the label of "Maan Studio". For the promotion, "All My People" had supported the football game between the Romanian football team and the Greek team, for the qualification to the FIFA World Coup 2013.
Singles from Clichè (Hush Hush)
"Lemonade" was released as the album's lead single on June 12, 2012. The song was first in Italy by the EGO Records, where it was certified Gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry for downloads and sales over 15,000 shipments. It is the most successful song from Cliche (Hush Hush), reaching top-places in charts around Europe, including the thirteenth position in her native country, and having a big radio success around the world. The accompanying music video for the song was filmed in Italy and was released on June 12.
"Cliche (Hush Hush)" was chosen to be the second single from the re-issue and was released worldwide on September 27, 2012, along with the music video for the song. "Clichè (Hush Hush)" charted very well in Japan, reaching the eleventh position in the Japan Hot 100, and having a big commercial success in that territory. Stan won an award at the Japanese ceremony Japan Gold Disc Award in the category "Best Newcomer".
"All My People" was released as the third and final single from the album on May 1, 2013, along with the music video being released along with the song the same day. It features vocals by the character Manilla Maniacs, formed by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi from Maan Studios. While containing influences of R&B music, it charted well in the Italy iTunes Chart, debuting at the sixth position and reaching the fifth position in that chart. It managed to reach the twelfth position in her native country and the fiftieth position in the Japan Hot 100
