Clifton City is an unincorporated community in Otterville Township, Cooper County, Missouri, United States on the Katy Trail State Park. The nearest town is Otterville; it is also 13.6 miles (21.9 km) west of Sedalia.
History
Clifton City, or Clifton, was first settled in 1832 by George Cranmer, who built a mill there.[1]
