Conor Cooney (born 22 October 1992) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a Left Corner Forward for the Galway senior team.

Cooney made his first appearance for the senior team during the 2012 Walsh Cup and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen.[1] An All-Ireland medalist in the under-21 grade, Cooney's only silverware at senior level was the 2012 Leinster Championship At club level Cooney plays with the St Thomas' club.

Conor is a qualified national school teacher that trained in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick.
