Cresent Leo Hardy (born June 23, 1957) is an American politician from the state of Nevada; he is the current member of the United States House of Representatives for Nevada's 4th congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, Hardy was a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing the 19th district prior to his election to the House.[1]
Hardy graduated from Virgin Valley High School and Dixie State College. He served as a city councilor for Mesquite, Nevada. He was elected to the State Assembly in 2010.[2]
U.S. House of Representatives
2014 election
Hardy ran as a candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Nevada's 4th congressional district, held by Steven Horsford of the Democratic Party, in the 2014 elections.[3] Hardy defeated Horsford.[4]
2016 election
Hardy is running for re-election in 2016. Hardy will face two challengers in the Republican primary in June 2016.[5]
