Dala is a densely populated Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria within Kano city. Its headquarters are in the Gwammaja locality.
It has an area of 19 km² and a population of 418,777 at the 2006 census.

It contains Dalla Hill and was once the capital of the Sultanate of Kano.
