Dallas City Township is one of twenty-five townships in Hancock County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 996 and it contained 502 housing units.^[1] It was formed from Pontoosuc Township in 1860.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 15.5 square miles (40 km²), of which 15.37 square miles (39.8 km²) (or 99.16%) is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 km²) (or 0.84%) is water.^[1]
