Damian William Jones (born June 30, 1995) is an American basketball player for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Jones attended Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[1] He was rated by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit and committed to Vanderbilt University to play college basketball.[2][3]
As a freshman, Jones appeared in all 31 games and started 28. He averaged 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.[4] As a sophomore he played in 35 games with 34 starts and averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks. Entering his junior year he announced that it would be his final season and that he would be entering the 2016 NBA Draft.[5]
