Darrell Thorp is a producer, mixer, and engineer who has won a total of seven Grammy Awards to date (2015). He has worked on many multi-platinum records so far in his career and has over 18 years of experience. Thorp started out as an intern at smaller studios, before moving on to work as an assistant engineer at some of the larger studios. At Ocean Way Recording, Thorp met Nigel Godrich, which led him to working on albums for Paul McCartney, Radiohead, and Beck, and to becoming Godrich’s full-time engineer. Thorp is currently working as both a producer and mixer on many different records.[1]
