The discography of Dave Matthews Band, an American rock band, consists of eight studio albums, sixty live albums, two compilation albums, eight video albums, two extended plays, twenty-nine singles (including one as a featured artist), and twenty-one music videos.

After independently releasing the album Remember Two Things and the extended play Recently on Bama Rags Records, Dave Matthews Band signed with RCA Records. They released their debut studio album Under the Table and Dreaming in September 1994. In the United States, the album peaked at number eleven on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[2] The group's next studio album, Crash, was released in April 1996. It peaked at number two on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified seven times platinum by the RIAA.[2]

Before These Crowded Streets, the band's third studio album, was released in April 1998. The album hit number one on the Billboard 200,[1] the band's first album to do so, and was certified three times platinum by the RIAA.[2] The album also notched chart positions on the national albums charts of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The album also spawned the single "Crush", which became the band's first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number seventy-five.[3] In February 2001, the band's fourth studio album, Everyday, was released. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified three times platinum by the RIAA.[2] It also featured the band's first Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, "The Space Between", which peaked at number twenty-two on the chart.[3] The band's fifth studio album, Busted Stuff, also hit number one on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified two times platinum by the RIAA.[2] "Where Are You Going", the album's lead single, peaked at number thirty-eight on the Billboard Hot 100,[3] giving the band another Top 40 hit.

Stand Up, the band's sixth studio album, peaked at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming the group's fourth consecutive studio album to do so.[1] It was certified platinum by the RIAA.[2] The album's lead single, "American Baby", became the band's most successful single, peaking at number sixteen on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually receiving a gold certification from the RIAA.[2] The band's seventh studio album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, continuing a streak of number one albums for the band.[1] It was certified platinum by the RIAA.[2] The album's lead single, "Funny the Way It Is", peaked at number thirty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100.[3]

The group has released multiple live albums throughout their career. While always encouraging fan recordings of concerts for personal enjoyment, the success of the band led to the illegal sale of such recordings. Such copies were often very expensive and of low-quality. To meet the demand of the illegal distribution of such recordings, the band released their first live album, Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95, in October 1997.[4] Since the release of the album, the band has released a total of sixty live albums, which have included releases from the Live Trax and DMBlive series of albums.
