"Typical Situation" is the a song by American rock group Dave Matthews Band. It was released in 1995 as the third single from their debut album Under the Table and Dreaming. The single did not chart,[1] but is still frequently played at live shows. It was inspired by "A Prayer in the Pentagon" by Robert Dederick.[2]
