Dayao (simplified Chinese: 大瑶镇; traditional Chinese: 大瑤鎮; pinyin: Dàyáo Zhèn) is a town under the administration of and in the south of Liuyang, Hunan, China. Dayao is well known for its firework industry.
Dayao has an area of 63 square kilometers and a population of 53,000.[2]
Cityscape
The town is divided into 6 villages and 4 communities, the following areas: Nanchuan Community, Chongwen Community, Tianhe Community, Huifeng Community, Shangfeng Village, Sanyuan Village, Nanshan Village, Nanyang Village, Limei Village, and Qiangsheng Village.
