The Democratic Alliance (Greek language: Δημοκρατική Συμμαχία — ΔΗ.ΣΥ., Dimokratiki Symmachia — DISY) was a centrist liberal political party in Greece. It was founded on 21 November 2010 by Dora Bakoyannis,[8] a few months after she was expelled from the centre-right party New Democracy for voting in support of an European Union-International Monetary Fund backed financial stability loan.[9] The party's founding congress took place on 27 May 2011.[10][10]

On 22 May 2014 the party rejoined New Democracy, and on 11 January 2016 Dora's brother became the head of New Democracy.
