Denise Faro is an Italian singer and actress, with an important career in Italy and Latin America. She is fluent in Italian, Spanish and English.

Biography

Her artistic career began in the hit series Un Medico in Famiglia, where she co-starred, followed by the Italian film Come Tu Mi Vuoi, alongside Italian stars Cristina Capotondi and Nikolas Vaporidis.

At 17, Denise participated at the "Festival de la Cancion de Benidrom" representing her country with the song "I Just Wanna Be With You;" so far being the only one that has represented Italy in all eight years of the festival.[1]

A year later, Denise joined the cast of the popular opera of the great artist Riccardo Cocciante "Romeo and Juliet," as Juliet, which was the start of her theatrical career.[2]

In fact, a year later Denise got the lead role in the first official Disney production in Italy, "High School Musical Io Spettacolo," as Gabriela, musical that turned her into a star.[3]

2008 was a year of major projects and special invitations to international events such as "Sanremo," "MTV Music Awards," and "Wind Music Awards".

The following year Denise began a new theatrical adventure, playing both the role of Sol and Belen in the Argentinean musical "Patito Feo el Musical" touring throughout Europe with over 200 shows.[4]

In 2010, Denise returned to film with "Il Mondo di Patty, La Festa di Patty," which was extremely successful, being one of the most-watched films in such year.[5]

Also in 2010 Denise participated in the Mexican talent show, "La Academia Bicentenario", showcasing her talent for the first time in Latin America, the first step in becoming internationally known.[6]

In early 2011, Denise returned to Italy to start filming the new Italian serie, "Benvenuti a Tavola", released in early 2012 by the main channel (Canale 5), working with great Italian actors Tirabassi, Bentivoglio.[7]

In February 2012, Denise finally started to get recognition in the music world, representing her country Italy in one of the most important festivals in the world LIII Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar Here, she won first place and soon after began a tour introducing her single Grazie a te" in Argentina, Venezuela, Guatemala, Mexico, Italy and Spain.[8] Currently, Denise has an album under the artistic direction of Adriano Pennino, an album that features songs from great authors including Claudia Brant, produced in two languages, Spanish and Italian.

Her Italian artistic godmother is the great Raffaella Carra who says Denise "is a great artist, ready to succeed in the world with her strength and sweetness, a whole artist who will get very far."[9]

Last year Denise starred in "Benvenuti a Tavola 2," the soap opera most followed on the main Italian channel.[10]
