Dhandu

The Dhandu are a Seraiki-speaking Jat clan, found in the Punjab procvince of Pakistan.[1]

History and origin

The Dhandu claim descent from the Panwar Rajputs. They claim descent from Dhandu, who is said to have been converted to Islam, by the famous Sufi saint, Sayyid Jalal of Uch.[2]
